THE CASEIN MENACE: MILK, MUCOUS, CANCER AND YOUR CHILD
As for that white mustache, often found
right under our nose… it is far from attractive, and is even further from
advertising chic … when its cause is better understood.
Such advertisements should serve as
reminder of what casein-rich dairy products can cause. Casein is a menace
and nasal mucous is only the first of many health problems that casein’s continuous
consumption may bring into our lives.
Unfortunately, the problem is not new,
and has deep societal roots, thanks to a powerful dairy industry and its
propaganda. We live in a culture that champions the importance of drinking milk
during infancy, childhood, youth, adulthood and old age… from cradle to grave.
No matter our gender or age, there's always an excuse to drink milk and many
people seem to think that, without milk, one could not live. How can we
easily go from that long-held belief to an understanding that milk actually could
cause severe health problems? Such a change in beliefs is difficult in a
society that consumes vast quantities of milk for its calcium content, but has
no clue about what casein is and how it affects our health.
Milk is a food that God has created to
feed the mammals on this planet – but, only until they can feed
themselves. After that dependent stage, only our human species stubbornly
continues to drink milk. Further, we substitute a mother's healthy milk,
which comes loaded with enzymes that help digest human milk successfully, for
the milk of an animal that was not created to feed a two-legged mammal with a
thinking brain. Now, to make matters even worse, over the past century,
we have tampered even further with nature’s plan: milk pasteurization has
removed the digestive enzymes that originally accompanied animal milk in its
raw and natural state; those natural enzymes, at least, would give our human
tummies some hope that the casein contained in this milk could be successfully
digested and rendered harmless. Destroying the natural enzymes in a food
that was not created for humans is truly a crime. It leaves us unprotected
from a protein that will eventually cause us great bodily harm. Why? Our
own enzymes cannot protect us against casein
-- we cannot digest casein successfully. Casein truly is an
invisible menace and we must be aware of it.
How else is casein affecting us and,
especially, how is it affecting our children? The lactose and casein
proteins that remain in milk after pasteurization are responsible for the
millions of cases of allergic reactions and dopamine-like reactions that affect
our children every day. They also are responsible for the digestive
intolerance issues that many adults face, these days. Cases of allergies,
asthma, attention deficit and lactose intolerance have spread like wildfire in
recent decades and have one common denominator: Casein.
The sad thing is that, for children who
are already adversely affected by other environment components, the addition of
casein in their diets may actually be the drop that overflows the cup.
Pasteurized-milk consumption -- in other words, casein consumption -- is
closely linked, not only to respiratory problems, but even to mild and severe
behavioral and attention-related problems. While facing this dilemma, many
parents research aggressively, hoping to find the source of the
problem. Ironically, the silent and despicable assassin is right under our
noses, laughing out loud every time we open the refrigerator! The time has
come to breathe deeply, look at all sources of casein in the eye and say, with
great determination, "to hell with you, invader, now get the heck out of my fridge!
